Sunday 20th September 2026 09:00am – 5.9 miles – Moderate
Bradford Dale
Starting at Moor Lane car park near Youlgreave (DE45 1LU) but the postcode is inaccurate. I suggest using Google Maps search "Moor Lane Car Park" for a more accurate location. The car park accepts cards or the RingGo app. We shall depart the car park at 10.15 am. A steep, steady descent into Bradford Dale, where it follows the river for several miles. Returning across fields to regain the river with a 367m climb back to the car park. Please let us know if you are coming, since we will not be at the Ravenshead Car Park. We will already be in Derbyshire in our camper and will meet you at the car park.

A Walk Within Nottinghamshire
Meet at 9.30 at the usual rendez-vous. The walk will be via Kighill Lane, over the A60 and through wood and field to reach Newstead Abbey estate. The return from the Abbey can be either along the main Abbey drive to the Hutt Inn or for those requiring a longer walk can continue to return via Kirkby Road. The walk is fairly flat with a few undulations on the section to Kirkby Road.
